JIC RELEASE NO. 514 - Vaccination Clinic UPDATE: 600 Doses To Be Administered on December 30 and December 31; VAPPC Continues Discussion on Phase 1b Priority Group

The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS), in partnership with the Office of the Governor, Mayors’ Council of Guam (MCOG), Guam Department of Labor (GDOL), Guam Fire Department (GFD), Guam Police Department (GPD), University of Guam (UOG) School of Nursing and Health Sciences, and the Serve Guam Commission - Americorps Guam Program, will continue its COVID-19 vaccination clinic for part of Phase 1b on Wednesday, December 30 and Thursday, December 31 at Okkodo High School in Dededo. The school cafeteria and gymnasium has been set up as a temporary vaccination clinic. 

   

JIC RELEASE NO. 512 - Results: 11 of 559 Tests Positive for COVID-19;Food Commodities Distribution through Village Mayors ContinuesRegistration for Vaccinations Continue through Village Mayors

Eleven (11) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 559 tests performed by the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) on Sunday, December 27, 2020, and tests from additional labs from Friday, December 24 to Sunday, December 27. Two (2) cases were identified through contact tracing. Two (2) cases reported recent travel history and were identified in quarantine. 
   

JIC RELEASE NO. 507 - DPHSS COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic Monday, December 28 – Wednesday, December 30;DPHSS Issues Guidance Memo 2020-47

At the recommendation of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), and in consultation with the Vaccine and Antiviral Prioritization Policy Committee (VAPPC), the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) will now include elderly adults ages 75 years and older in the Phase 1b priority group to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
