Today, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) reported 150 new cases of COVID-19 from 1,669 specimens collected July 25, 2022. Twelve (12) of the cases reported today are through the Department of Defense.

The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s 377th COVID-19-related fatality was pronounced dead on arrival at the U.S. Naval Hospital (USNH) Guam on July 13, 2022. The patient was a 14-year-old male, fully vaccinated without a booster, with underlying health conditions who tested positive on July 13.

Today, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) reported 148 new cases of COVID-19 from 1,478 specimens collected July 18, 2022. Twenty-six (26) of the cases reported today are through the Department of Defense. To date, there have been a total of 54,013 officially reported cases, 376 deaths, 939 cases in active isolation, and 52,698 not in active isolation.

The 375th COVID-19-related fatality was pronounced dead on arrival at the Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) on June 30, 2022. The patient was a 41-year-old female, unvaccinated with underlying health conditions, who tested positive on June 30.
