GHS/OCD Host Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program Training

The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD), in coordination with the Federal Emergency Management Agency Region IX, will host the “Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) – L0146” training on Thursday, August 23 – Friday, August 24, 2018 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the GHS/OCD facility, Agana Heights.
 
The two-day course is offered at no cost to eligible participants. The HSEEP training course is an intermediate-level course designed to provide participants with a working knowledge of HSEEP and information about the available resources provided for implementing a self-sustaining HSEEP. The course comprises seven modules that build on one another. Each module is divided into a series of lessons, each of which has its own objectives. There is a prerequisite required, IS-120.C: An Introduction to Exercises.
 
Attendees for the course include emergency management personnel from the Government of Guam, federal, military, private, and non-profit organizations.
