The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) tested 198 individuals for COVID-19 on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 with conclusive results. Zero tested positive through DPHSS and 198 tested negative for SARS-CoV-2. Results include 172 samples from COVID-19 drive-through testing held at the GPD Police Koban Parking Lot in Barrigada today.

One case tested positive for COVID-19 through Diagnostic Laboratory Services (DLS) and was reported earlier today.

To date, there have been a total of 225 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 5 deaths, 174 released from isolation, and 46 active cases. Of those cases, 183 are classified as civilians, and 42 are military service members.

Criteria for release of cases from isolation was implemented on May 22. For persons having symptoms, at least 10 days have passed since recovery defined as resolution of fever without the use of fever-reducing medications and improvement in respiratory symptoms (e.g., cough, shortness of breath) and any other symptoms attributed to COVID-19 infection AND at least 10 days have passed since symptoms first appeared—or, with recurrent symptoms, at least 10 days have passed since recurrent symptoms appeared—AND at least 14 days have passed since the date of their first (or most recent) positive COVID-19 diagnostic test. For persons without symptoms, at least 14 days have passed since the date of their first (or most recent) positive COVID-19 diagnostic test assuming they have not subsequently developed symptoms since their positive test.
