JIC RELEASE NO. 208 - End of Day Results: Two Test Positive for COVID-19 by DPHSS, One Case Confirmed by DLS, One Case Confirmed by DoD;Governor Signs Executive Order 2020-23

COVID-19 test results are reported from multiple labs at varying times of the day. The cumulative total from all labs will be reported on a nightly basis, unless unavailable. The following breakdown provides cumulative COVID-19 test results for Tuesday, June 30, 2020:

The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) tested 266 individuals for COVID-19 on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 with conclusive results. Two tested positive through DPHSS and 264 tested negative for SARS-CoV-2. Results include 225 samples from COVID-19 drive-through testing held at the Mangilao Senior Center/Mangilao Night Market today.

Two new cases of COVID-19 were reported today. One case tested positive at Diagnostic Laboratory Services (DLS) and the other tested positive from the Department of Defense (DoD).

To date, there have been a total of 259 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 5 deaths, 179 released from isolation, and 75 active cases. Of those cases, 215 are classified as civilians, and 44 are military service members.


Governor Signs Executive Order 2020-23
Today, Governor Lou Leon Guerrero signed Executive Order 2020-23, relative to reconstituting the interagency council for coordinating homeless programs, establishing the Office of Homelessness Assistance and Poverty Prevention at the Mayors’ Council of Guam, and providing shelter and protection for unsheltered homeless families and individuals.
