Emergency Shelter Update:

Harry S. Truman Emergency School Emergency Shelter is closed, effective immediately due to a generator issue. Shelterees were safely transported to Inalahan Elementary School Shelter. Emergency Shelter Numbers as of 11 a..m., Wednesday:

GIAA Update:

The Guam International Airport is a 24/7 operation that remains open even at the height of adverse weather conditions and stands ready to accommodate any technical or emergency operation that may occur during typhoon conditions. Airlines are continually assessing flight conditions to determine their operations and passengers and the public are advised to contact their respective airlines for the latest flight updates. 

 

Flight status is available on the GIAA website at www.guamairport.com/flights. Upon declaration of COR 4, the GIAA airfield will be inspected by operational personnel and, if all Safe conditions are met (NAVAIDS, airfield lighting system, etc.) in coordination with the FAA Agana Air Traffic Control Tower, will issue an advisory that the airfield is open for operations.
