JIC Release No. 32 - MEDICAL SERVICES UPDATE; All elective services suspended until COR4

The Guam Memorial Hospital Authority opened its doors to shelter women at least 36 weeks pregnant, or who are 6 months into a high-risk pregnancy as early as Condition of Readiness (COR) 2.

The Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) has suspended all visiting hours and cancelled all outpatient elective surgeries until further notice. All expectant mothers currently at GRMC will remain in the hospital for the duration of Typhoon Mangkhut, until it is determined to be safe for them to return to their homes. U.S. Naval Hospital Guam (USNH Guam) opened its doors to pregnant women who are 38 weeks or longer, and 36 weeks if high risk (with complications) at COR 2. Now that we are in COR 1, USNH Guam outpatient services will be closed but the emergency department will stay open.

All U.S. Renal Care dialysis centers will be open Monday morning, September 10, 2018 to provide dialysis treatment for patients scheduled on the first shift.The dialysis centers will close after the first shift. Dialysis treatments will resume once the centers re-open. Patients are being contacted by dialysis staff members regarding their treatment schedule.
