The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s forty-second COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) at approximately 1:25 a.m. this morning. The patient was an 83-year-old female with underlying health conditions that were compounded by COVID-19. She was admitted to GMH on August 28 and was a known COVID-19 case.
The Joint Information Center was notified of Guam’s fortieth and forty-first fatalities.
Guam’s fortieth COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) at approximately 7:36 p.m. this evening. The patient was a 56-year-old female with underlying health conditions that were compounded by COVID-19. The patient was admitted to GMH on August 18 and tested positive upon admission.

The Joint Information Center was notified that Guam’s thirty-ninth COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Memorial Hospital (GMH) at approximately 8:40 p.m. last night. He was transferred to GMH after testing positive upon admission to Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC) on August 28. The patient was a 66-year-old male with underlying health conditions that were compounded by COVID-19.

The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD) along with the Mariana Regional Fusion Center (MRFC), in coordination with local telecommunication companies, are closely monitoring reports of local telephone numbers receiving suspicious calls from local, domestic and unusual or unexpected international area codes.

She was transferred to GMH on September 18 after testing positive for SARS-CoV-2 at Guam Regional Medical City (GRMC).
