NWS Issues Flood Warning for Guam; Drive with Caution

The National Weather Service (NWS), Guam Weather Forecast Office issued an urban and small stream flood advisory for Guam until 2:30 p.m.

Heavy showers approaching and moving across Guam have produced up to an inch and a half or rainfall in the past hour, causing urban and small stream flooding. Poor drainage areas will be susceptible to minor flooding the next hour or so.

The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD) advise residents and visitors to practice extreme caution while traveling in rainy conditions, driving below the speed limit and allowing enough braking distance between vehicles.
