Thunderstorm Advisory Issued for Guam; Stay Up to Date

The National Weather Service (NWS) – Guam Weather Forecast Office issued a thunderstorm advisory for the Guam International Airport until 4 p.m. Thunderstorms are possible or occurring within 20 nautical miles of the airport. Seek shelter if lightning is seen or thunder is heard.
NWS also continue to monitor a circulation southeast of Guam, drifting south of Pohnpei. It is expected to eventually head west north-west, toward Chuuk and the Marianas. It is still unclear when it will move west-northwest through Chuuk State and toward the Marianas. It is also unknown at this time how strong it will be or the exact location in the Marianas it is expected. There is still much uncertainty about the system.
