Weak Tropical Disturbance Passing by South-Southeast of Guam

The National Weather Service (NWS), Weather Forecast Office Guam, is monitoring a weak tropical disturbance centered south-southeast of Guam as it tracks slowly west.

NWS advises the tropical disturbance will bring clouds, showers and gusty winds to the islands today. The heaviest shower will keep just south of Guam today but rains across Guam today and tonight are expected. Winds may get gusty at times, particularly with heavy showers throughout the day.

Although there is no direct impact expected from the weak tropical disturbance and there are no advisories issued by NWS at this time, the Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD) remind residents and visitors to practice caution while traveling in heavy showers and gusty winds.
