Wind Advisory in Effect; Practice Caution on the Roadways

The National Weather Service (NWS) Guam Weather Forecast Office issued an airport wind advisory, in effect for the Guam International Airport until 7 p.m. this evening. Winds of 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 35 knots are possible, especially in heavier showers.

The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD) remind the community to practice caution while traveling in windy conditions, driving below the speed limit and allowing enough braking distance between vehicles.
