Community Urged to Refrain from Calling Back Unknown Phone Number

The Mariana Regional Fusion Center (MRFC) is closely monitoring reports of local telephone numbers receiving calls from unusual or unexpected numbers.

 

The phone numbers may begin in area code 881 or 882 and are seemingly “spoofed,” which means it is imitated or disguised to appear as a different number. 

The community is reminded to remain vigilant and continue to follow these tips:

One Month Left to Apply for SBA Disaster Loans

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Director Tanya N. Garfield of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Disaster Field Operations Center-West today reminded private nonprofit organizations in Guam of the July 8, 2019, deadline to apply for an SBA federal disaster loan for property damage caused by Typhoon Wutip that occurred Feb. 23-25, 2019. Private nonprofits that provide essential services of a governmental nature are eligible for assistance.

 

One Month Left to Apply for SBA Disaster Loans

Garfield of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Disaster Field Operations Center-West today reminded Guam private nonprofit organizations of the July 1, 2019, deadline to apply for an SBA federal disaster loan for economic injury caused by Typhoon Mangkhut that occurred Sept. 10-11, 2018. Private nonprofits that provide essential services of a governmental nature are eligible for assistance.
